The average sales price of condominiums in Columbia Heights was remarkably stable between 2008 and 2009. While studios saw a considerable appreciation, average prices of 1 and 2 bedroom units remained within a percent of the previous year. The number of 2+ bedroom condos sold in 2009 was up considerably over 2008.
The number of attached/detached homes was also up in 2009, however prices on average were down 11% even while these homes sold quicker than in 2008.
